Promotion of Michael Kennedy to Chief Pilot of IJM East

 

DULLES, VA  – September 20, 2007 – International Jet Management (IJM), a private jet company providing aircraft charter, management, sales and maintenance services, announced today that Michael Kennedy has been promoted to Chief Pilot of IJM East.

“Since Mike joined IJM in December 2006, he has consistently demonstrated leadership, experience and dedication,” said Alexei Mack, Founder, President and CEO of IJM. “In his new role, we are confident that he will be a leading force in upholding the company values of safety, discretion and world-class service.”

Mr. Kennedy fulfills the needs for this role through his extensive experience in the aviation industry, most recently as the Chief Pilot of JetShareUS, a private aviation company based in Sarasota, Fla. Mr. Kennedy has over 4500 hours of incident and accident-free flights, over six years of 135 experience and four jet type ratings which include Pilot in Command qualifications on two IJM Part 135 aircraft. His most recent administrative FAA experience was at IJM’s round table proving run where he participated in adding the Hawker 800 series to the IJM certificate. Mr. Kennedy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Concordia University.
